A deer rammed my passager side . airbag light was always on saying passenger airbag off . but when it explodes it injured my passenger . all the airbags didn't activate my car shut down after the incident but a few moments after it regenerated there were all types of debris after the extreme loudness of the air bags explosion. I'm still traumatized.
2012 Cadillac SRX was traveling approximately 30mph and t-boned another vehicle at an intersection. Both vehicles were totaled. The airbags in the Cadillac did not deploy and the seatbelt did not lock, causing the driver to be thrust forward into the steering wheel and windshield. Significant head injury. The safety of everyone was at risk, this car was not even road-worthy from the moment it left the floor.
So while driving the stabilizer light came on and it swerved when I went to hit my brakes to stop the car because I was heading across a bridge the brake somehow lost power and I pushed and it didn’t do anything by the time I got the pressure to come back I guess after pushing a few times it was too late and I rear ended another vehicle and completed pushed in the entire front on my truck. This is the second time the light came on but the first time it swerved and then the brakes going out shouldn’t have happened because I got the brakes replaced earlier this year

2012 CADILLAC SRX. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO AIR BAGS NOT DEPLOYING IN AN ACCIDENT. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED AS HIS WIFE WAS DRIVING, THE VEHICLE WAS STRUCK FROM THE SIDE, CAUSING IT TO HIT THE CONCRETE JERSEY WALL AND GUARD RAIL NUMEROUS TIMES, FROM SIDE TO SIDE.
Recently the liftgate has closed unexpectedly several times while items were being unloaded/loaded from the rear of the vehicle. This caused the user to be struck by the liftgate. Someone smaller or weaker, such as a child could potentially be trapped and injured since the blockage detect function apparently fails at the same time. It has also opened on it's own while the operator was away from the vehicle and out of range of the key fob. Apparently, this is a common issue with the panoramic roof in many Cadillac models leaking water into the rear storage area of the vehicle. The control module becomes immersed in water and begins to perform unreliably, eventually failing complete as it becomes more wet. No warning tones or lamps are activated
I received a recall from GM as to the toe links in my vehicle. On November 4th it went into the dealership to have the parts replaced and the following morning my car lost control when something happened between the tires and the steering which caused my car to swerve all over the road, lose control, flip and go into a ditch. There were 3 warning lights on, ABS, traction, and Stabilitrak. The car has not yet been inspected but will be. Thank God it happened around 5:30 a.m. when there were not a lot of cars out yet on the highway.
THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM AS TO NOT BE ABLE TO BE USED AFTER DARK. HIGH BEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO SAFELY DRIVE AT NIGHT THUS BLINDING ONCOMING TRAFFIC OR RISKING BEING TICKETED. ON 6/25/18, MY WIFE WAS TRAVELING 45 MPH., IN OUR 2012 CADILLAC SRX. THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF HER WENT TO MAKE A LEFT TURN INTO A SUBDIVISION. BUT, THEN DECIDED NOT TO DO THAT AND PULLED BACK INTO THE LANE OF MY WIFE. SHE SLAMMED ON HER BRAKES, TO AVOID HITTING THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER, SHE COULDN?T ANTICIPATE THEIR MOVE. SHE HIT THEM FROM BEHIND, GOING 45MPH. SHE HIT HER FOREHEAD ON THE VISOR BAR TWICE, CAUSING A SKULL FRACTURE, BRAIN BLEED, SEVER CONCUSSION, DEEP LACERATIONS, A BURST ARTERY IN HER FOREHEAD TO WHERE SHE WAS BLEEDING HEAVILY AND UNCONSCIOUS. HER CHEST HIT THE STEERING WHEEL, WHICH BADLY BRUISED HER RIBS, CAUSING A HIATAL HERNIA, DUE TO THE IMPACT. SHE SUFFERED LACERATIONS TO HER LEFT ARM, KNEE AND HAS RUPTURED DISCS IN HER CERVICAL SPINE. SHE WAS ICU FOR SEVERAL DAYS DUE TO THE BRAIN BLEED AND HEAD INJURIES SHE SUSTAINED. OUR AIR BAG NEVER DEPLOYED AND THE DRIVER SEAT BELT DIDN?T LOCK ON IMPACT, ALLOWING HER TO BOUNCE UPWARD TWICE AND SUSTAINED THE HEAD INJURIES. THE CADILLAC AIR BAGS AND SEAT LOCKING MECHANISMS FAILED TO PROTECT HER FROM INJURIES SHE SHOULD HAD NEVER HAD. SOMEONE NEEDS TO RESEARCH FURTHER THESE ISSUES FOR THE 2012 SRX SO OTHER CONSUMERS DON?T FEEL SAFE IN A VEHICLE, WHERE THE SAFETY MECHANISMS FAIL. CADILLAC SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET AWAY WITH THIS. SHOULD THE 2012 SRX HAVE A RECALL ON AIR BAGS AND SEAT BELT LOCKING MECHANISMS FAILING? MORE THAN ONE COMPLAINT HAS BEEN POSTED, SO I HOPE THE NHTSA INVESTIGATES THIS FOR US ALL. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS A FORMAL COMPLAINT! THANK YOU, AND PLEASE FOLLOW UP! *TR
TWO CARS AHEAD OF ME WAS GOING STRAIGHT AND ALL OF A SUDDEN TURNED INTO A STRIP MALL WITHOUT INDICATOR, THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME SLAMMED ON THEIR BRAKES AND SO DID I , BUT I STILL ENDED UP REAR ENDING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT. I THINK MY SPEED WAS AROUND 30 AT THE TIME OF IMPACT. I HIT MY CHIN TO THE STEERING WHEEL. GOT MULTIPLE CUTS INSIDE OF MY MOUTH. AND COUPLE OF THEM ON MY FACE WHICH REQUIRED STITCHES. MY AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND NEITHER THE SEATBELT PREVENTED IT, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS ODD. CHECKED WITH CADILLAC IF HEY WERE AWARE OF ANY PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. THEY DENIED THE EXISTENCE OF SUCH AN ISSUE. SO I WANT TO GET THE VEHICLE INVESTIGATED , SO THAT NOBODY ELSE SHOULD GET HURT THE WAY I DID; ALSO I HAVE ANOTHER CADILLAC AND NEED TO KNOW. WILL REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS
