ON THAT DATE, I WAS DRIVING HOME WITH MY WIFE AT APPROXIMATELY 2 PM. SUDDENLY, THE CAR WENT OFF AND THE STEERING WHEEL WENT STIFF. AS I TRIED TO MOVE UNSUCCESSFULLY, WE WENT DOWN TO A SLOPE OF ABOUT 20 DEGREES. AS A RESULT, BOTH OF US HAD TO BE TAKEN FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT FOR KNOCKS, CUTS AND FOLLOW UP CHECKS. SO FAR, IT HAS COST US $16,497.00 AND REPAIR OF THE CAR US$6,853.00. THERE HAS BEEN OTHER EVENTS WHERE THE CAR SUDDENLY STOPS AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECOMES STIFF. BUT, I DON T USE THE CAR IN THE HIGHWAY BUT ONLY FOR SHORTS ERRANDS AND WITHIN THE AREA WHERE WE LIVE. ITS BEEN A NIGHTMARE. I HAVE CHANGED THE THROTTLE CASING MODULE, THE RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE, I PUT A RUBBER STOP ON THE ACCELERATION PEDAL, ETC. AGAIN, OUT OF THE ACCIDENT IT HAS BEEN OVER 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN TRYING TO FIX THE CAR. *TR
A MALFUNCTION OF THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING, I CANT STEER MY VEHICLE.IT IS DIFFICULT TO STEER AND CONTROL THE VEHICLE. I WAS DRIVING AND THE STEERING START WOBBLING AND MAKING NOISE VIBRATING AND THE STEERING GO REAL STIFF. I CALLED THE RECALL DEPARTMENT THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A RECALL ON THE TORQUE SENSOR OR PSCM JULY 2014 TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER TO GET APPROVAL TO LET THEM KNOW , I DID THEY CHECKED IT OUT SAID IT WAS THE TORQUE SENSOR, CALLED FORD TO GET APPROVAL BECAUSE IT WAS ON THE RECALL LIST, WAS DENIED. I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU SAID IF THIS PROBLEM SHOWS A HISTORY LOSS OF THE TORQUE SENSOR SIGNAL OR FAIL CODES RELATING TO THE PSCM WHEN I BROUGHT IN FOR THE RECALL REMEDY, THE AFFECTED COMPONENTS WILL BE REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE. YOU TOLD ME THE RECALL WAS JULY 2014 AND AT THAT TIME YOU RESET THE PSCM AND CLUSTER MODULE. THAT DIDNOT FIX THE PROBLEM ONLY PUT A BANDAID ON THE REAL PROBLEM. I DID NOT OWN MY VEHICLE IN 2014. THIS IS HAPPENING AGAIN. AFTER THE FIRST RECALL. ANOTHER RECALL. WHY WONT YOU FIX IT MY ARMS SHOULDER NECK AND HEAD ARE INJURED BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT FIX WHAT IS A PART THAT CONSISTANTLY BREAK DOWN OR MALFUNCTION THAT'S HAPPENING OVER AND OVER. IT SHOULD BE SET FOR ANOTHER RECALL. THIS COULD NOT BE HAPPENING ONLY TO ME. DRIVING ON CITY STREETS IN MOTION WITH BAD STEERING ISSUES.
I SUFFERED AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE WHILE DRIVING IN A HIGHWAY, I COULD NOT STEER THE WHEEL AND THE ENGINE STOP WORKING. I WROTE BEFORE BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN ANSWER. WHAT CAN I DO? THANK YOU *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 MERCURY MARINER WHICH WAS BEING TOWED BY A 2004 FLEETWOOD TIOGA MONTARA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE HOOD. TAKATA RECALL HAD JUST STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT WHEN THE CAR BEHIND ME RAN INTO ME. THE SPEED LIMIT ON THAT ROAD IS 60 MPH , BUT SURE HOW FAST HE WAS GOING WHEN HE HIT US. BUT, IMMEDIATELY AFTER IMPACT I NOTICED MY SEAT BELT WAS NO LONGER ON. IT HAD UNBUCKLED ON IMPACT.
ON FRIDAY, DEC 13TH, I WAS DRIVING HOME IN CRUISE CONTROL AT 60 MPH. MY BLOOD PRESSURE DROPPED SUDDENLY AND I PASSED OUT AT THE WHEEL. I WOKE UP JUST IN TIME TO CRASH, NO TIME TO REACT. I IMPACTED, HEAD ON, A CREEK BANK AFTER JUMPING OVER THE CREEK. MY AIRBAGS DID NOT INFLATE AND I IMPACTED THE STEERING WHEEL SO HARD I BROKE THE STEERING COLUMN OFF THE DASHBOARD. 3 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL WITH A COMPRESSED CHEST, IMPAIRED BREATHING, AND MASSIVE BRUISES. I HAD A COLD AT THE TIME AND IT MADE RECOVERY SLOWER. *TR

Me and my wife purchased a vehicle from a private seller to use for personal commute. A month later we started to notice more issue were occurring with the car then stated from the seller. I took it to an auto body shop to get it inspected and possibly serviced and upon that inspection the clerk stated that there was a milage adjustment done to the vehicle. We contacted the seller to try and return the vehicle and receive our money back, but the dealer refused and requested us to resell it.
The passenger side of the subframe has holes and will veer hard right when it brakes
Power Steering assist fault went out with no warning. Now steering wheel is locking up while driving. Also when trying to gain speed the vehicle bogs out.
Engine light came on after putting fuel in my car it is hapless the codes read emission and fuel issues to replace cap but it is hapless it says it's an issue that needs to be fixed now my engine light won't go off
The power steering assist is malfunctioning and it is available for inspection upon request. The steering wheel is very difficult to turn, it's as if the power steering assist is keeping the wheel from turning. No, but I spoke to someone at Ford and they said that it sounded like my car should be in the recall that was announced for my vehicle type but my VIN was not included in the recall. My car has not been inspected by anyone but it says right on the dash board digital display that there is a "Power Steering Assist Fault". Ford does this with many vehicles they recall, a lot of vehicles that should be included in the recalls are not and we're supposed to foot the bill for their lack of concern for public safety? It's going to cause an accident but it's my only working car and I can't afford to pay for their mistakes. How many have died due to their negligence I'm wondering.
