WHILE TURNING ON AN OFF RAMP THE STEERING GAVE OUT AND LOCKED, CAUSING THE CAR TO DRIVE DIRECTLY INTO THE GUARD RAIL. YES THE CAR WAS MOVING BUT STEALTHILY AS I SLOWED DOWN TO MAKE THE TURN. THE CAR WAS THROWN FROM THE LEFT GUARD RAIL TO THE RIGHT SIDE CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGE AND NO AIRBAG DEPLOYED IN THE EVENT OF THIS CRASH. THE CAR WAS NO LONGER ABLE TO MOVE FROM SUCH A DRASTIC ACCIDENT AND YET IT WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR THE AIRBAGS TO EVEN ATTEMPT TO SAVE OUR LIVES. THERE WERE KIDS IN THE CAR! THANK THE HEAVENS WE WERE ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE WRECK ALIVE. ONE WHEEL WAS TURNED INWARD AS IT ATTEMPTED TO TURN WHILE THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL STAYED STRAIGHT. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE AND WE ARE ALL STILL SHAKEN UP BY THIS.
DRIVING DOWN A ROAD THANK GOD NO VEHICLES BEHIND, GOING APPROX 25-30 AND ALL OF A SUDDEN WITHIN 10 SECONDS I GOT A YELLOW WARNING, THEN IMMEDIATELY RED WARNING LIGHT THAT COMPLETELY STOP MY VECHILE TO A DEAD STOP . THEN I PUT THE GAS ON IT WAS RUFF AND THEN IT WAS OK TO DRIVE THE CAR. MYSELF AND 3 OTHERS WERE INJURIED LIKE WE HIT A WALL.
On 03/06/2025 my car got into an accident with another vehicle the whole pumper was damaged yet the air bags didn’t go off, and my child in the back seat with his booster, that the seat belt was supposed to hold the seat, the whole booster seat came off
Had an accident to which passenger door area was the impact zone of a collision yet passenger front and side airbags did deploy yet only my front driver airbag deployed. My side airbag did not and I sustained injuries from being rammed against side whereas I wouldn’t have had it deployed. Also, wanted to note that while the passenger airbag did deploy my daughter still hit the windshield in midst of it deploying. Something to look into. Won’t let me upload, sorry. You can email me and I will send them that way.
LEASED A 2018 NISSAN ROGUE IN AUGUST OF 2018 AND STARTED HAVING ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE. WHILE DRIVING, THE NAVIGATION SCREEN, CENTER CLUSTER WHERE THE SPEEDOMETER IS AND ALL AIR CONDITION AND ELECTRONICS WOULD POWER OFF AND RESTART ITSELF, AS IF I WAS CRANKING THE VEHICLE UP. TOOK THE CAR IN FOR SERVICE AND THE DEALERSHIP STATED THEY HAD NEVER SEEN THIS ISSUE BEFORE AND THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT. THE DEALERSHIP CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY STATING THE CAR WAS READY. ON MY WAY HOME FROM THE DEALER, THE SENSOR SYSTEM THAT WORKS WITH THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING FAILED. I TOTALED THE VEHICLE AND FRACTURED C5, C6, C7 IN MY NECK, AND HAD TO WEAR A CERVICAL COLLAR FOR 4 MONTHS FOLLOWING THE ACCIDENT. I ALSO SUFFERED A CONCUSSION. NISSAN TOOK OVER AND STARTED THEY NEEDED TO PERFORM AN INVESTIGATION. THEY FOUND AN ISSUE WITH THE SENSOR SYSTEM IN THE CAR, AND THE AEB WAS NOT FUNCTIONING. THIS COULD HAVE ALL BEEN AVOIDED. 10 MONTHS LATER THEY SEND OUT A CUSTOMER SERVICE INITIATIVE TO HAVE THE CAR UPDATED AND LOOKED AT AGAIN. HOWEVER THE CAR WAS NO LONGER IN MY POSSESSION.
TL* THE CONTACT RENTED A 2018 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH THROUGH A PARKING LOT, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL MADE CONTACT WITH THE SIDE OF A CURB. AFTER MAKING CONTACT WITH THE CURB, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED TO APPROXIMATELY 80 MPH. DURING THE INCIDENT, THE VEHICLE MADE A SHARP 90 DEGREE TURN AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A COMMERCIAL BUILDING. THE VEHICLE PENETRATED THE WALL AND STOPPED INSIDE THE BUILDING. BOTH THE DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER SUFFERED HEAD AND NECK INJURIES, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL TREATMENT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. Rear power lift gate on my 2018 Nissan Rogue will randomly close after being lifted. Happens at any time, whether the key fob, dash button or the button on the lift gate itself is used. The lift gate has hit my wife and I in the head multiple times causing minor injury. The car has been back to my Nissan dealer twice, they state the struts, sensors and modules are all working fine. They indicated they recalibrated the sensors. Not sure what the issue is but we don’t like the idea of paying the quoted price of $1200 to replace the struts since this may be a general problem with the car.
Was at a complete stop at a red light, was struck from behind in which the car was going approximately 50 miles an hour, and no airbags deployed. The police report stated that they did but in fact they did not. I provided pictures of the inside of the car after the accident showing that they did not deploy. Daughter in back seat suffered fractured vertebrae. She was sitting in center seat. There was an occupant in driver seat as well as front passenger. Driver may have hit chin on driver’s wheel causing bruising but no broken bones. Driver continues to have sore upper back as of April 2, 2024, but no broken bones. Pictures of police report also provided.
The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while entering her garage, the vehicle accelerated. The brake pedal was applied but failed to respond. The contact swerved and crashed into her house. The air bags deployed. The contact sustained injuries to her knee and leg and was transported by ambulance to the hospital for medical attention. There was no reported fire or police report filed. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted by email but had not responded. The failure mileage was approximately 68,560.
I was driving on the expressway when my car started shaking and a malfunction message came on. My steering then started to steer only to the left and the car would not allow me to control the steering any longer. I hit the median wall, did a 360 and was facing the opposite direction of traffic. The door initially would not unlock to let me out. I kept trying in a panic and all of a sudden they unlocked for me to get out. My car was totaled out by my insurance company.
The contact owned a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while pulling out of a parking lot and attempting to make a left turn, another vehicle crashed into the front driver' side of the vehicle and damaged the entire front end of the vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact hit her head on the steering wheel. The contact sustained pain on the left side of the body and was transported to the hospital with the assistance of emergency units, but was not diagnosed. The contact sought assistance from a chiropractor, who informed her that she had sustained a left neck and shoulder sprain. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot, and was then towed to a salvaged lot, where it was totaled. The dealer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist because she had signed over the vehicle to a salvaged yard. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
I was in a auto accident. The drivers seat (side airbag) deployed as well as the curtain airbag. This accident hasn’t been shown to my dealership because the car is sitting in a junk yard. The side airbag that came out of my seat hit me so hard that it burned me through 3 layers of clothing and gave me a third degree burn about the size of a grapefruit. I have yet to have my insurance inspect this, but it just looks like a deployed airbag and it ripped open my seat. I was being burned. The burn on my clothes was hard around the edges like how polyester burns. It was unimaginable pain.
The car was in an accident. The car's front was what was impacted from the very front of the car. So much car damage was done was that the the car was considered total. The airbags never deployed. It caused injury to the driver.
TL* THE CONTACT'S WIFE OWNS A 2018 NISSAN ROGUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HIS WIFE WAS DRIVING AT 40 MPH, SHE BRIEFLY LOOKED DOWN WHICH CAUSED HER TO UNKNOWINGLY DRIVE INTO A DITCH. AS SHE ATTEMPTED TO EXIT THE DITCH, SHE RAN OVER A MOUND WHICH RESULTED IN HER JUMPING OVER THE MOUND AND LANDING INTO ANOTHER DITCH. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED UPON IMPACT; HOWEVER, THE FRONT AND PASSENGER AIR BAGS FAILED DEPLOY WHICH CAUSED HIS WIFE TO BANG HER HEAD AGAINST THE STEERING WHEEL. THE AUTHORITIES WERE CALLED TO THE SCENE AND HIS WIFE WAS TREATED FOR HER BRUISE TO HER FOREHEAD. THE CONTACT'S FIVE MONTH OLD DAUGHTER WAS ALSO IN THE VEHICLE BUT SHE SUFFERED NO INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED FROM THE SCENE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT REMAINED IN THEIR POSSESSION. THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 55,000.
