AS I WAS PARKING MY CAR, IT SUDDENLY AND WITHOUT WARNING LURCHED FORWARD FULL THROTTLE OUT OF CONTROL OVER THE PARKING BARRIER AND CURB AND THROUGH A STOREFRONT WINDOW. I TRIED TO STOP IT AS MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE THE WHOLE TIME, BUT I COULD NOT, AND IT LODGED ITSELF INTO A DRYWALL COUNTER AND SIDE WALL.(IT WAS LATER FOUND OUT THAT THERE WAS A 600 POUND SAFE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTER, WHICH PROBABLY STOPPED THE CAR) I SHUT OFF THE IGNITION AND YELLED FOR HELP. I WAS COVERED IN GLASS AND INJURED MY SHOULDER, NECK, UPPER BACK AND RIGHT LEG. I HAD JUST HAD THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR AND REAR BRAKE PADS REPLACED AT THE HONDA DEALERSHIP 6 DAYS PRIOR TO THIS. MY CAR WAS MAINTAINED THERE REGULARLY. IT IS FORTUNATE NOBODY WAS KILLED. THE INCIDENT WAS CAUGHT ON THE SECURITY TAPE. *TR

I HAVE HAD TWO ACCIDENTS IN MY 2006 HONDA CRV AND THE AIR BAGS HAVE NEVER GONE OFF. THERE IS OBVIOUSLY A PROBLEM, BUT HONDA WILL NOT ADMIT TO IT. ONE ACCIDENT WAS IN JULY OF 2009, THE SECOND NOVEMBER OF 2010 I ALSO HAD TO REPLACE ALL 4 TIRES AT 34,000 MILES.....THEY WERE RATED FOR 60, 000..... SO FAR I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE MY SECOND ISSUE IS THAT THE HEAT SHIELD HAS RUSTED OFF, AGAIN CALLED HONDA AND THEY SAY THAT IT'S A ROUTINE REPAIR. MY HONDA ONLY HAS 50, 000 MILES ON IT. NOTHING SHOULD BE RUSTING ON A 4 YEAR OLD CAR.... *TR

AM CONCERNED THAT EVEN IF VEHICLE CAN BE REPAIRED, POSSIBILITY OF ANOTHER SIMILAR EVENT IS TROUBLING. I HOPE HONDA WILL INVESTIGATE THIS ACCIDENT AND REPORT ITS FINDINGS. *TR

THE SEAT BELT LOCKED IN AN OPEN POSITION UPON IMPACT, CAUSING MY FATHER INJURY TO HIS CHEST AS HE WAS IMPACTED UPON THE STEERING WHEEL. I ALSO DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE DRIVER AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY; THE FORCEFUL COLLISION CAUSED THE FRAME IRREPARABLE DAMAGE. THIS VEHICLE WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. I ASKED THAT A REPRESENTATIVE FROM AMERICAN HONDA CORPORATION TAKE A LOOK AT THE VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS LOCATED AT THREE (3) DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. THEY IGNORED MY REQUEST. THE COMPLAINT NUMBER THAT I WAS ASSIGNED BY AMERICAN HONDA CORPORATION IS #N012007-07-2300426. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, THIS HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. *TR

Due to an incorrect marking, the connecting system may have been fitted to the wrong vehicle. In the event of a rear-end collision, the connecting system can come into contact with the Intelligent Power Unit (IPU). This creates a risk of short-circuit in the high-voltage grid, potentially leading the vehicle to catch fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
A reduction in the amount of grease in the steering gearbox during use results in dangerously fluctuating torque during steering. This can create a loss of vehicle's control and increases the risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
Due to a problem during the production process, the vibration of the engine can cause cracks inside the high-pressure fuel pump. This may lead to a fuel leak, increasing the risk of fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
Due to a faulty circuit board in the passenger seat weight sensor, the passenger seat’s occupant detection system may identify a Steering Wheel Sensor (SWS) error and the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) warning light could switch on. This can cause a faulty triggering of the airbags, creating a risk of injuries for a child occupying the passenger seat. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
Due to improper manufacturing of the belt buckle channel, the front seat belt buckles (driver or passenger side) may not lock properly. This could affect the restraining capacity of the safety-belt and increase the risk of injury in the event of an accident. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
The battery cable connecting the battery to the fuse box is not fitted with a fuse. In the event of a collision, the battery cable could be damaged if it is trapped against the vehicle's body. This can lead to a short circuit and possible overheating of the battery cable, which creates a risk of fire and injury. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
