Exposure of the aluminium negative terminal to the electrolyte can cause a chemical reaction, leading to material degradation around the electrical connection. This compromises the connection's seal and can cause an electrolyte leakage. This can lead the terminals to crack, rendering the vehicle inoperable due to electrical failure. If the battery remains live, a spark can occur, posing a risk of a vehicle fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.

This can create a loss of vehicle's control and increases the risk of accidents and injuries. Due to a faulty circuit board in the passenger seat weight sensor, the passenger seat’s occupant detection system may identify a Steering Wheel Sensor (SWS) error and the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) warning light could switch on. This can cause a faulty triggering of the airbags, creating a risk of injuries for a child occupying the passenger seat. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.

The fuel pump impeller's defective molding can cause the impeller to have low density, which can lead to cracking. This can result in the impeller absorbing too much fuel, deforming, and potentially causing the fuel pump to fail. This failure can lead to the engine stalling while driving or failing to start, creating a risk of accidents and injuries to vehicle occupants. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.

IT WAS RAINING, I WENT TO SLOW DOWN AND IT WAS AS IF THE FRONT WHEELS LOCKED UP, TCS BLINKING ON AND OFF, AND THE TIRES REMAINED PULLING AS IF POWER WAS STILL BEING SENT TO THE FRONT TWO, LOCKED UP, TIRES AND I HAD NO CONTROL AS THE CAR PULLED ME STRAIGHT FORWARD INTO THE SIDE OF ANOTHER VEHICLE RESULTING IN A COLLISION THAT HAD ME HIT A STOPPED CAR SO HARD IT SPUN THE OTHER CAR AROUND AND TOTALED MY CAR. THIS ALL HAPPENED WITHIN 500 FEET OF WHERE I INITIALLY PULLED OUT ONTO THE ROAD I WAS TRAVELING ON WHEN THE CAR STARTED TO MALFUNCTION TO THE ROAD WHERE I ATTEMPTED TO TURN ONTO TO AVOID THE CRASH AND COULD NOT MANEUVER THE VEHICLE AT ALL.

I was in a car accident, I rear ended a vehicle. The other vehicle was stopped, I did not break at all and ran into them. My airbags did not deploy & there was substantial damage to my vehicle (deemed totaled by insurance assessor). My safety was put at risk as I sustained whiplash (whiplash resulted in neck pain day(s) following and bruising on my upper legs. When the assessor reached out to me, he stated that the air bags should have deployed and seemed to be a malfunction.

On 10/15/2022 our 2015 Honda Civic Coupe vehicle was in a front end collision at 70 mph. NONE of the airbags deployed. The vehicle is at my insurance company wrecking yard and would be available for inspection, if needed. My 16 year old son had injuries including a concussion and whiplash due to the air bags not deploying. The police, firefighters, paramedics, hospital doctors, and my insurance company ALL say that the airbags should have absolutely deployed. There were no warning lamps or messages that alerted us there was any concern before the accident.

MY CAR WAS STRUCK IN AN ACCIDENT IN WHICH THE AIR BAGS DID NOT COME OUT, NOT A SINGLE ONE. MY CAR WAS STATIONARY AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT ON A CITY STREET WHEN ANOTHER CAR AT FULL SPEED STRUCK FROM BEHIND. FROM THE IMPACT THE SEAT WAS TWISTED AND ONCE AGAIN NO AIRBAGS CAME OUT. ADDITIONALLY, THE SEAT BELT GOT STUCK AND ONCE I UNBUCKLED MY SEAT BELT IT DID NOT RETURN TO ITS PLACE LIKE IT NORMALLY DOES. WITHIN THIS COMPLAINT, I WILL ATTACH PICTURES FROM THE CRASH AND IT SHOWS HOW THE AIRBAGS DID NOT COME OUT.

THE VEHICLE (V-2) WAS INVOLVED IN A COLLISION AT THE 1-5 NB CYPRESS OFF RAMP IN REDDING CALIFORNIA IN EVENING PEAK HOUR TRAFFIC (AT 1810). V-2 WAS STRUCK BY V-1, WHICH IN TURN PUSHED V-2 INTO V-3. BOTH V-1 AND V-2 WERE STATIONARY AT THE TIME OF COLLISION. V-1, A ISUZA TROOPER SUSTAINED MINOR FRONT END DAMAGE. V-2 RECEIVED MINOR FRONT END DAMAGE, AND MAJOR REAR END DAMAGE. V-3, A KIA SOUL RECEIVED MINOR REAR END DAMAGE. THE ISSUE IS THAT THE V-2 AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY OR THE SEAT-BELT RESTRAIN THE DRIVER IN THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER STRUCK THE STEERING WHEEL RECEIVING A MAJOR BRAIN CONCUSSION AND BROKEN NOSE UPON BEING PUSHED BY V-1 INTO V-3. SEVERAL ON THE SCENE QUESTIONED THE LACK OF AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT OR THE SEAT-BELT NOT PROVIDING THE RESTRAINT NECESSARY TO PREVENT THE INJURY. MY CONCERN IS THIS IS A FAILURE OF THE SAFETY SYSTEMS NECESSARY TO RESTRAIN THE DRIVER. REPORTING PARTY IS THE FATHER OF THE DRIVER OF V-2, A TEEN DRIVER.
