OUR 2014 CHEVY CAMARO SS POWER STEERING WOULD LOCK UP ON US WHEN WE WERE DRIVING AND WOULD JERK AND WE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO STEER THE CAR AND IT WAS VERY SCARY ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU WERE GOING THE SPEED LIMIT ON THE INTERSTATE GOING 65-70 MPH. MY HUSBAND WAS COMING HOME FROM COURT ON 9/8/20 AND IT WAS ALSO OUR 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY AND IT LOCKED UP ON HIM AND THE NEXT THING HE KNEW HE WAS HIT BY A LADY AND HE WAS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND OUR CAR WAS TOTALED AND HE DONT EVEN HAVE ANY RECOLITION OF WHAT HAPPENED THE IMPACT OF THE LADY HITTING HIM KNOCKED HIM OUT AND HE IS LUCKY TO BE ALIVE HE SUFFERED A BROKE ARM AND HAD TO HAVE SURGERY TO HAVE A PLATE AND SCREWS PUT IN TO REPAIR IT AND WE DONT HAVE A VEHICLE NOW. WE HAD JUST PURCHASED THE CAR THE END OF MAY 2020. WE SEEN A RECALL ON THE STEERING LOCKING UP AND THE CHEVY DEALER SAID THEY COULDN'T REPLACE IT BECAUSE THE VIN NUMBER WASN'T ON RECALL. HOW CAN A VEHICLE THAT IS DOING THE SAME EXACT THING AS THE SAME EXACT VEHICLE WITH A DIFFERENT LETTER IN THE VIN NOT BE ON RECALL FOR THE SAME EXACT DEFECT? MY HUSBAND IS LUCKY TO BE ALIVE AND NOW WE ARE LEFT WITH NO VEHICLE. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE ID LIKE TO HAVE MY VEHICLE REPLACED DUE TO THIS RECALL THAT WAS DEFECTIVE IN MY VEHICLE. WE HAVE A FRIEND WHO HAD THE SAME ISSUE AND THEY TOLD HIM THE SAME THING ABOUT HIS VIN SO HE TRADED HIS CAMARO IN FOR A DIFFERENT VEHICLE. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE MY CAR REPLACED OR REPAIRED BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE/RECALL. IM UPLOADING A PICTURE OF WHAT MY CAMARO LOOKS LIKE NOW.
THE CAR WAS MAKING A TURN IN INCLEMENT WEATHER WHEN IT LOST TRACTION. IN EVERY EFFORT TO SLOW THE VEHICLE, MY HUSBAND (WHOM WAS DRIVING) DOWNSHIFTED TO THIRD GEAR, AS THE CAR WAS SLIDING INTO A DITCH THE CLUTCH STUCK TO THE FLOOR (AS IT HAS DONE BEFORE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND HAS BEEN MENTIONED TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP), THE BRAKES WENT OUT, THE E-BRAKE WAS PULLED IN AN INTENSE EFFORT TO SLOW THE VEHICLE DURING THE LOSS OF CONTROL FROM IMPACTING AN ELECTRICAL POLE. WHEN THE FIRST IMPACT WAS MADE INTO THE DITCH, ALL 4 CURTAIN AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. AFTER THE SECOND FULL FRONTAL IMPACT INTO THE ELECTRICAL POLE, THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYED, HOWEVER, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT EVEN THOUGH IT HAD AN OCCUPANT. *TR

The seatbelt rubs my neck no matter how adjust the seat. In 2015 I was in car accident and had a severe neck injury. I had Thoracic Outlet surgery. Recently on 8-24-23 I was in a fender bender . I injured my neck again, a disk bulge is pressing against my spinal cord. Both accidents the seatbelt pressed against my neck. I was wondering if it was a factory defect.

I am filing a safety complaint regarding my 2014 Chevrolet Camaro V6 with the 3.6L LFX engine because the vehicle intermittently stalls and/or will not restart after being driven or exposed to high ambient temperatures. I live in [XXX], where extreme temperatures and extended idling in traffic are normal driving conditions. The vehicle can operate normally and then experience a fuel-delivery-related failure after becoming hot. It may stall or fail to restart and can remain unable to start until it cools down. This makes the vehicle unpredictable and unsafe to operate because I cannot know when it will lose the ability to run or restart. This is especially dangerous in Phoenix traffic. A driver cannot reasonably avoid traffic congestion, extended idling, construction, accidents, or other situations where the vehicle remains exposed to extreme heat. I have had to alter how and where I drive because I am concerned that the vehicle may stall and leave me stranded in or near moving traffic. The vehicle has experienced fuel-system-related diagnostic trouble codes, including P2635 (Fuel Pump Flow Performance), P069E, and P018B. The high-pressure fuel pump has already been replaced, but the problem has continued. General Motors has also issued technical information addressing heat-related fuel system concerns involving this engine/platform. I have raised the issue with Chevrolet/General Motors and have GM case number XXX. Despite the recurring safety-related symptoms, I have not been provided with a permanent repair that makes the vehicle reliably safe to operate under the environmental conditions in which it was sold and is normally driven. My concern is not simply that the vehicle requires repair. The safety issue is that the failure is intermittent, temperature-related, and can cause the vehicle to stall or become unable to restart without adequate warning. In extreme Arizona heat, being stranded also creates an additional safety risk to occupants. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain replacement flip-key ignition transmitter assemblies sold as replacement equipment for 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles. GM dealers may have inadvertently sold these assemblies as replacement keys despite them having been recalled under NHTSA recall number 14V-346 (GM number 14294) when they were the original equipment assemblies. The driver may accidentally bump the ignition key with their knee, moving the ignition out of the run position and turning off the engine.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, replace the key with the flat blade design, free of charge. Interim notices informing owners of the safety risk were mailed November 6, 2019. Owners received a second notice and the recall began February 4, 2020. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N192223230.
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014 Buick Regal, Cadillac XTS, Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Impala vehicles. Improperly torqued fasteners may cause the steering intermediate shaft and the steering gear and/or the lower control arm and the lower ball joint to separate.
Remedy: GM began to notify owners on June 27, 2014, and dealers will inspect the fasteners for correct torque, correcting them as necessary, free of charge. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-521-7300 (Buick), 1-800-458-8006 (Cadillac) or 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet). GM's number for this recall is 14378.
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling all 2010-2014 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles manufactured December 3, 2008 to May 23, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the driver may accidentally hit the ignition key with their knee, unintentionally knocking the key out of the run position, turning off the engine.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will remove the key blade from the original flip key/RKE transmitter assemblies, and provide two new keys and two key rings per key. The recall began August 25, 2014. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is 14294. Note: Until the recall has been performed, it is very important that drivers adjust their seat and steering column to allow clearance between their knee and the ignition key.
General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013 and 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Coupes manufactured June 9, 2013, through September 6, 2013. In the affected vehicles, the required air bag warning label on the sun visor may peel off. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 208 "Occupant Crash Protection."
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and instruct owners how to inspect the visor sticker. As necessary, dealers will replace the sun visor, free of charge. The recall began on October 28, 2013. Owners may contact GM at 1-800-521-7300. GM's recall campaign number is 13284.
