Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Flex vehicles. The driver and front passenger B-Pillar door trim may detach while driving.
Remedy: Dealers will repair or replace the B-pillar trim as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed December 17, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated March 2027. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SB8. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Flex, 2015 Explorer, Lincoln MKT, Lincoln MKZ, 2015-2016 C-Max, Escape, Taurus, 2016 Fusion, 2018-2019 Taurus, 2019 Lincoln MKT, Fiesta, and 2020 Mustang vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, intermittent, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on October 25, 2025. Additional letters will be mailed once the final remedy is available on each phase. Mustang owner notification letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SA9. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2019 Flex, Fiesta, and Lincoln MKT vehicles. The rearview camera may intermittently display a blank or distorted image.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed January 22, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated March 2027. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S75.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2018 Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX, 2019 Ford Flex, and Lincoln MKT vehicles. The power supply cables at the starter and the alternator may not have been properly secured, possibly resulting in an electrical arc.
Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the alternator and starter motor power supply cables to verify that they are properly secured, correcting them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began September 26, 2018. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 18S25.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2019 FORD FLEX. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN, WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE RAN THE RED LIGHT AND CRASHED INTO HER VEHICLE ON THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE BUMPER. THE CONTACT STATED NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES ON HER AC JOINT (LEFT SHOULDER) AND HER SON (REAR DRIVER SIDE) SUSTAINED BACK INJURIES AND HER DAUGHTER (REAR PASSENGER SIDE) SUSTAINED INJURIES ON HER LEFT KNEE. THE CONTACT STATED THEY ALL SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION WITH THE ENT FROM THE AMBULANCE AND ALSO WENT TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE ON THEIR INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DRIVABLE. THE INSURANCE COMPANY DEEMED THE VEHICLE TOTALED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO LOCAL DEALER AUTONATION FORD TORRANCE (3111 PACIFIC COAST HWY, TORRANCE, CA 90505:(424) 253-4976) WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS STILL BEING DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 36,000.

While the car was off and in park the car started to roll down drive and would not respond to hard braking

The contact stated that it was unknown if the panel crashed into another vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was repaired, however, the failure recurred with the same part, however, the panel was not completely detached, it was loose. The failure recurred when the panel detached and crashed into another vehicle. There were no known injuries. There was no police report filed. The dealer was contacted. My backup camera is not working intermittently or will display a grainy image or black and blue lines. Sometimes it will just be a black screen. Other models of my vehicle had the backup camera recalled but my dealer is saying my vin isn’t included in the recall.
Exterior b-pillar applique trim on front driver and passenger doors have ripped from the vehicle while driving. Driver side trim includes key code pad and wires. Dealer has no parts available and taking no appointments. Rear camera not working consistently. Dealer has no parts available and taking no appointments.
Getting on Interstate 35 at Bevington, Iowa and heard a noise at drivers side window and a piece of trim broke in 2 pieces, scared me and I pulled over on the Interstate to look and there was a piece hanging from some wires on drivers door
My backup camera is not working all the time, sometimes it comes on but more than not it doesn’t work, I contacted a Dealer and they said there is no solution for this issue.
