I was in a head-on collision (T-bone) going over 40 mph. Despite the severity of the collision no airbags deployed and both front seatbelts failed. Error Codes: B0052:00 Deployment commanded; B0015:04 Driver seat belt buckle tensioner deployment loop open; B0022:04 Passenger seat belt buckle tensioner deployment loop open. I have a police report but it exceeds the 10mb limit.
THE DASH BOARD IS CRACKED. THIS STARTED OFF AS A SMALL CRACK ON THE TOP LEFT CORNER OF THE AIR BAG ON THE DASH, IT HAS SPREAD ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE DASH TO THE AREA OVER MY INSTRUMENT PANEL AND HAS NOW SUNK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DASH AS IF THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORTS UNDER THE MIDDLE OF THE DASH TO HOLD IT UP. I SEE THAT THERE ARE NO RECALLS ON THIS, BUT I AM WORRIED THAT IF SOMETHING WERE TO HAPPEN AND THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED THAT PIECES OF THE DASH WOULD GO EVERYWHERE AND CUT US UP EVEN WORSE THAN AN ACCIDENT. I ALSO SEE THAT THERE ARE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ON THIS MATTER WITH NO AVAIL. I WISH THAT SOMEONE COULD SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. I DO NOT WANT TO PAY FOR A NEW DASH JUST TO HAVE IT DO THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN. ALSO, THE CHROME COVERING ON THE INTERIOR DOOR HANDLES ARE STICKING UP AND FLAKING OFF AND HAVE CUT MY HUSBANDS, CHILDREN AND MY HANDS SEVERAL TIMES. I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS WEBSITE DUE TO LOOKING TO SEE IF THERE WAS A POSSIBLE RECALL OR I SURE WOULD'VE REPORTED THIS SOONER. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO HELP THE MASSES HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH THESE PROBLEMS BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY HURT?
THE DOOR HANDLES ARE PEELING APART AND HAS CUT NUMEROUS PEOPLE. THIS ISSUE WAS PRESENTED PREVIOUSLY IN 2007 AND A RECALL WAS ISSUED. THE DEALER STATED THERE IS NO RECALL FOR 2010 AND WAS NOT WILLING TO REPAIR THE DANGEROUS DOOR HANDLES. *TR
MY WIFE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE THE AT-FAULT DRIVER RAN A RED LIGHT AND T-BONED HER DRIVERS SIDE FRONT DOOR AND PILLAR AREA WHILE CROSSING AN INTERSECTION. OUR CAR WAS HIT HARD ENOUGH TO WHERE THE FLOOR BOARD AND FIRE WALL ARE WRINKLED. NOT ONE AIR BAG DEPLOYED. THE TOYOTA TRUCK THAT STRUCK MY WIFES CAR HAD IT'S AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE AUTO BODY SHOP IS TELLING ME, BECAUSE OF THE HARD IMPACT THE VEHICLE IS A TOTAL LOSS.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN; I OWN A 2010 GMC YUKON. I AS WELL AS OTHERS HAVE A CRACKED DASHBOARD, ONE NEAR THE DEPLOYMENT OF MY AIRBAG AND ONE ON THE DRIVER SIDE BY THE STEERING COLUMN. CONSIDERING GMC'S INTEREST IN THE SAFETY AND QUALITY OF THEIR VEHICLES. IT IS A SHAME THAT THERE IS NOT A RECALL BECAUSE OF SUCH REASON AS DEATH! THERE IS A HUGE CONCERN THAT THE SHARP EDGES OF THE CRACKS CAN ABSOLUTELY CAUSE HE AIRBAG TO DEPLOY AND GETTING YOUR HAND CUT AND INFECTION IS A DEFINITE POSSIBILITY. NOT TO MENTION THE ATTENTION THAT THE CRACKED DASH IS. WHEN SOMEONE IS WALKING BY IT IS VERY NOTICEABLE AND LOOKS BAD FOR GMC. THIS HAS BEEN BROADCAST-ED ON THE MEMPHIS, TN NEWS LATELY AND ONE DASH OUT OF PLENTY HAS BEEN PROPERLY TAKEN CARE OF. IF THIS ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED AND THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS I DO PLAN ON GOING TO THE NEWS AND TAKEN FURTHER ACTION. I WOULD WANT TO THINK THAT GMC WOULD WANT TO HAVE HIGHER STANDARDS AND BE COMPLIANT WITH THIS KNOWN, IGNORED AND ON GOING ISSUE! WAITING UNTIL DAMAGE IS DONE IS NOT THE RIGHT THING TO DO. FIXING THIS ISSUE IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO AND GMC SHOULD STAND WITH THAT. I WILL BE WAITING TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE VERY SOON. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! *TR
THIRD PARTY POWER WINDOW INJURY. I PUT THE BACK SEAT WINDOW UP FROM THE FRONT SEAT AND CRUSHED MY 7 YEAR OLD CHILD'S FINGER IN THE WINDOW CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY TO HER FINGER. SHE REQUIRED 8 STITCHES TO REPAIR THE TIP OF HER FINGER WHICH HAD BASICALLY BLOWN OPEN. *TR

Valve spring snapped clear in half inside the engine while driving on the highway. This caused me to be stranded on the side of the road in the middle of the Arizona desert with my two dogs in the heat. Thankfully I did not lose control of the vehicle. No warning signs whatsoever until out of nowhere- vehicle check engine light started flashing as well as 'service stabiltrak' and 'traction control disabled'. I immediately pulled over. Thankfully I shut off the engine in time to prevent further damage to the pistons. Vehicle was towed and inspected by Holden's Auto Service in Kingman, AZ. Valve spring broke clean in half and was given to me after valve spring was replaced. Compression tests were performed after valve spring replacement. engine was run until warm and normal compression resumed. No other mechanical issues found. Checked for recalls on this vehicle. nothing found related to this.
Engine front hood pops up into the safety latch position while driving down the road at highway speed and in cold weather or in a strong headwind.
The contact owns a 2010 GMC Yukon. The contact stated the front driver’s side dashboard was fractured. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V050000 (Air Bags) and took the vehicle to a local dealer to be repaired. The dealer declined to service the vehicle under recall due to the dashboard being fractured. The dealer and manufacturer informed the contact that the recall repair would be performed once the dashboard was replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.
The top of the dashboard instrument panel keeps cracking in several places despite trying to prevent any or further cracks. It is very visible and it is now cracking towards the steering wheel and the cover to the passenger air bag area. concerned that because it is in close range to passenger airbag component area as well as the steering column area that eventually there will some malfunction in either components.
The dashboard on our 2010 GMC yukon was cracking. While driving to pick up my daughter from school, the dashboard center section calapsed inside the dashboard. It was very alarming and is leaving the airbag case exposed.
Dash is cracked scared that sharp objects may fly into my family face if air bags are deployed the truck lost all power and left me and my daughter stranded right in the middle of traffic about got hit thank God we didn't GM needs to take care of these matters and take it seriously people could be seriously hurt or killed And if I hit a bump my cruise control will shut off automatically as if i pushed the button but i never touched anything

Excessive wear and tear of the transmission control module may cause a loss of pressure and damage a control valve. This could result in harsh gear changes and cause the rear wheels to lock, increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
