ON NOVEMBER 29, 2017 AT APPROXIMATELY 5:15 PM, WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25MPH IN TRAFFIC ON A TWO LANE. I HIT THE BRAKE TO STOP, NO BRAKES, AND I HIT THE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME. AFTER HITTING THEM, I BOUNCED OFF AND CONTINUED TO MOVE WITH NO BRAKES. MY AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND I SUSTAINED INJURIES TO ME CHEST, NECK, HEAD AND BACK. I WAS ABLE TO STEER THE CAR IN THE RIGHT SIDE LANE AND EVENTUALLY WAS ABLE TO STEER INTO A PARKING LOT; STILL WITH NO BRAKES. I LOOKED DOWN TO PULL UP THE EMERGENCY BRAKE AND SAW THE SHIFTER IN NEUTRAL. I THEN PUT THE SHIFTER IN PARK AND THE CAR FINALLY STOPPED. I DO NOT YET HAVE THE POLICE REPORT. I DID NOT RECEIVE A TICKET, BUT WAS TAKEN BY AMBULANCE TO THE HOSPITAL.
MY CHRY 200, 2015 WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END COLLISION AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. WHEN MY CAR COLLIDED WITH THE SIDE OF A SCHOOL BUS THE WHOLE FRONT AND DRIVER SIDE OF THE CHRYSLER WAS SMASHED IN AND TORE OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON IMPACT, ON A CITY STREET WHILE TURNING LEFT.
MY DAUGHTER WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT ON JANUARY 27, 2017 WHERE THEY HAD TO CUT HER OUT OF THE CAR AND HER AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED ON ANY PART OF THE VEHICLE
ON SATURDAY 2/27/16, MY HUSBAND AND I WERE GOING THROUGH AN INTERSECTION (WE HAD THE GREEN LIGHT) AND A FORD F-150 TRUCK RAN A RED LIGHT FORCING US TO T-BONE HIS TRUCK. WE WERE GOING APPROX 25 MPH AND THE TRUCK WAS GOING APPROX 40 MPH WHEN WE COLLIDED. THE AIRBAGS ON MY CHRYSLER 200 DID NOT DEPLOY BUT THE AIRBAGS ON THE F-150 DID DEPLOY. MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH RECEIVED HEAD, NECK AND BACK PROBLEMS FROM THIS ACCIDENT BUT THANKFULLY NOTHING EXTREMELY MAJOR. I AM INCLUDING PICTURES OF THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE CAR IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ACCIDENT.
WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND IT WAS DRY OUTSIDE, THE CAR ALERT SIGNAL SOUNDED AND THE AIR BAGS OPENED AND THE CAR STOPPED....UPDATED 06-12-15 *BF UPDATD 04/11/16 *JS UPDATED 9/21/2017*CN
THE CAR IS BURNING OIL. 35 QT IN 6000 MILES. THAT IS ALL YOU SMELL AS YOU DRIVE OR AT IDLE. THE CAR JERKS BACK AND FORTH AS YOU DRIVE NOT GOOD FORM MY 5 YR AND 3 YR OLD NECKS WHEN ITS JERKING THEM BACK AND FORTH. AS WE BRAKE THE CAR FEELS LIKE IT IS GIVING GAS TO GO. THE CAR HAS DIED AT STOP SIGNS IN THE MIDDLE OF KNOW WHERE.
I WAS AT A STOP SIGN WITH MY SPOUSE AND I WAS TAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN. THE CAR DIDN'T MOVE AT ALL THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT LUNGED FORWARD CAUSING US TO JERK BACK AND FORTH. I STILL HAVE LOWER BACK PAIN BECAUSE OF THIS AND MY SPOUSE NECK WAS HURTING FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. OTHER THAN THAT I HAVE SEVERAL ISSUES THAT HAD YET TO BE RESOLVED. THERE IS A RATTLING SOUND COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A KNOCK AND I HAVE TRIED DIFFERENT BRANDS OF GAS AND IT 'S STILL THERE. THE CAR STILL LUNGES FORWARD FROM A STOP EVEN THOUGH IT HAS HAD AN UPDATE ON ITS SYSTEM MULTIPLE TIMES. WHEN YOU PUT THE CAR IN PARK IT ROLLS FORWARD QUITE A BIT. 2 TIMES IT JUMPED OUT OF PARK AND INTO REVERSE. I HAVE HAD AN AIRBAG ISSUE 5 TIMES AND TODAY IT IS AT THE DEALERSHIP TO BE REPAIRED AGAIN. IT IS THE RIGHT SIDE AIRBAG. CONNECTORS WERE CHANGED AND WIRING 4 TIMES. CAR HESITATES A LOT ESPECIALLY FROM A STAND STILL. I HAVE ALMOST GOTTEN INTO ACCIDENTS DUE TO THE FACT THAT WHEN I WAS TAKING A LEFT ON A MAJOR ROAD FROM A COMPLETE STOP THE CAR ROLLED A LITTLE AND DIDN'T GO. IT HESITATED JERKED HARD AND WENT REALLY SLOW. A GRINDING NOISE CAME FROM THE TRANNY. ANOTHER ISSUE I HAVE IS THAT MY CAR VIBRATES. I DON'T HAVE NO AC NOR RADIO ON AND IT JUST VIBRATES. THE TECH TOLD ME THAT CHRYSLERS STAR WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR MY VEHICLE JUST UPDATES. I'M PAYING FOR A CAR THAT SPENDS ABOUT A WEEK IN THE SHOP ONCE A MONTH SINCE APRIL. NO ONE CAN FIGURE IT BUT THEY CAN HEAR THE RATTLING AND FEEL THE SOUND. I EVEN HAD ONE TECH TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD DEAL WITH IT THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINING BUT STAR ISN'T GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. YET AGAIN IT IS AT THE SHOP TODAY GETTING AN UPDATE AND THE AIRBAG BEING REPAIRED.

As I’m approaching a steeper hill I go from 25 to 20MPH as I try to turn the corner of the hill I feel the speed of the vehicle picking up as I’m trying to slow down without slamming on the brakes the vehicle takes off hits the curb then a utility pole before coming to a complete stop
This car is shutting off and losing power while driving putting me as well as other motorists in danger due to this occurring without warning and under any rate and direction of motion. I have loss power causing my emergency brakes to initiate causing the car to immediately stop. I was crossing an intersection when the car shut off. Yesterday, I was entering an entrance ramp onto the freeway and my car loss power, and the only time I was happy to have the police behind me because they blocked traffic so I would not get hit while trying to restart my car. The first time this occurred was April 2019 when my car lost power while I was driving on a high rise bridge during a storm causing the car to hydroplane back and forth against the railing. I was able to restart it and turn the hazard lights on so I would not get hit. But this accident injured me causing me to undergo months of medical treatment. Even after telling the insurance company about the power loss during the accident and even after the car was repaired from the accident then returned to me, it still was losing power. They took my car back and told me after inspecting it again, it was the battery and they replaced it. This was never taken serious when I was injured and could have died that day and many other days since. They did not check to see if it could have been a recall issue. Now I am experiencing this problem multiple times a week, and unless this is done by the manufacturer, it will not be corrected, putting us all in danger or leaving me without transportation because I have no faith I will be safe to continue to drive this car that I still have a year and a half of payments left. This is my families only transportation.
I was in accident on Nov.21,2021 it was a T bone the truck that hit me the airbag was deployed and mine didnt but my car was totaled damage there is a safety issue.I was doing about 25mph and the other vehicle about 45mph.

These vehicles are being recalled to address a defect that could prevent the cruise control system from disengaging. If, when using cruise control, there is a short circuit within the vehicle's wiring, the driver may not be able to shut off the cruise control either by depressing the brake pedal or manually turning the system off once it has been engaged, resulting in either the vehicle maintaining its current speed or possibly accelerating.
Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the software, and perform a software flash on the engine or powertrain control module, free of charge. The recall began June 4, 2018. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Note: Owners are advised to stop using cruise control until the software update has been performed. In the event that cruise control cannot be disengaged while driving, owners should firmly and steadily apply the brakes and shift the transmission to neutral, placing the vehicle in park once it has stopped.

The affected vehicles are equipped with radios that have software vulnerabilities that can allow third-party access to certain networked vehicle control systems.
Remedy: Chrysler will notify and mail affected owners a USB drive that includes a software update that eliminates the vulnerability, free of charge. Optionally, owners may download the update to their own USB drive from http://www.driveuconnect.com/software-update/ or take their vehicle to a Chrysler dealer for immediate installation. In an effort to mitigate the effects of this security vulnerability, Chrysler has had the wireless service provider close the open cellular connection to the vehicle that provided unauthorized access to the vehicle network.
