THE CONTACT STATED THAT ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT WAS TWISTED AND UNLATCHED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND TOWED TO A POLICE IMPOUND LOT. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TOWED AWAY BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V652000 (SUSPENSION). THE DEALER WAS NOT CALLED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO TOOK HER INFORMATION AND STATED THAT SOMEONE WOULD CALL BACK. THE CONTACT WAS CALLED BACK BUT WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CALLED BACK. ON TUESDAY MARCH 20TH, 2018 THE 2015 CHEVROLET TRAX IN WHICH I WAS A FRONT SEAT PASSENGER WAS STUCK FROM BEHIND BY A 2012 DODGE RAM FULL SIZE PICK UP TRUCK. THE SEAT BELT THAT WAS RESTRAINING ME FAILED TO RESTRAIN THE FORWARD MOTION OF MY BODY AT IMPACT. THE SEAT BELT DID NOT TIGHTEN UP, IT ALLOWED MY BODY TO BE PROPELLED FORWARD UNRESTRAINED. I SUFFERED A NECK INJURY AND WAS ALSO DIAGNOSED WITH CONCUSSION TYPE SYMPTOMS AT THE ER. THE VEHICLE WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP WAITING FOR ONCOMING TRAFFIC TO PASS WHEN IT WAS STUCK IN THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE BY THE PICK UP TRAVELING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED.
MY 2015 TRAX HAD COLIDED WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE TRAAX VERSES THE BED OF A GMC PICKUP AT A MOERATE SPEED. THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. PASSENGER IN RIGHT HAND FRONT SEAT WAS FASTENED WHITH A SEAT BELT AND SUFFERERD A CLOSED SCULL CONCUSSION WITH WHIPLASH.THE VEHICLE COLLIDED ON A PRIVATE STREET WHEN THE GMC PICKUP BACKED OUT OF A DRIVEWAY WHITHOUT YEIDING THE RIGHT OF WAY(POLICE REPORT FINDING).

The contact's husband inspected that vehicle and discovered that the coolant had leaked out of the reservoir. The contact initially took the vehicle to the dealer where they informed her that the water pump and a transmission valve were leaking. The contact then took the vehicle to an independent mechanic where they replaced the serpentine belt. The contact stated that the vehicle was not equipped with a temperature gauge which caused the contact to not know that her vehicle was overheating. The contact stated that additional work needed to be performed on the vehicle due to the lack of a temperature gauge. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 81,000.

I am unable to control my vehicle. Something in front end of vehicle pushes and pulls the vehicle from left to right without being able to regain control. Loud popping and clunking while turning..Braking has also been a majoir issue along with suspension/steering issues. I would greatly appreciate these things to be fixed immediately beings there has been a recall years ago and I was never notified!

BEFORE LEAVING PUMPED BRAKE AND CHECKED FOR PRESSURE - NOW OK. DROVE HOME AND PARKED CAR IN DRIVE. CALLED GENERAL MOTORS TO HAVE CAR BRAKES CHECKED OUT. HAPPENED ONCE BEFORE - EXACT TIME UNKNOWN - IN PARKING LOT - WITH NO CARS AROUND, TO BACK INTO. NO PRESSURE ON BRAKE PEDAL. I THOUGHT I JUST MISSED THE BRAKE PEDAL. MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES.
ON JUNE 11, 2016, I WAS DRIVING 60 MPH AND HAD A FRONT END COLLISION. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE. THIS WAS A 4 LANE HIGHWAY, AND A DEER RAN OUT IN FRONT OF ME. THE SHERRIFF'S DEPARTMENT RESPONDED AND A REPORT HAS BEEN FILED.

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2018 Chevrolet Trax vehicles. A joint in one or both of the front lower control arms may have been improperly welded. An improperly welded joint may break, resulting in the partial separation of the lower control arm from the vehicle.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the left and right front lower-control arms, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began November 6, 2019. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is A192261870.
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Buick Lacrosse and Chevrolet Spark EV, Caprice PPV and SS vehicles, 2014-2017 Buick Encore and Chevrolet Corvette, Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles, 2015-2016 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Tahoe, Trax, Suburban and Silverado 2500 and 3500 and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL vehicles, and 2015-2017 GMC Sierra HD 2500 and 3500 vehicles. While being previously remedied for recall 16V-651, the affected vehicles may not have received the complete software update necessary to remedy the recall condition. Without the update, certain driving conditions may cause the air bag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software to activate a diagnostic test. During this test, deployment of the frontal air bags and the seat belt pretensioners would not occur in the event of a crash.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will reflash the SDM software. Vehicles that have had a previous air bag deployment will have the SDM replaced. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on August 4, 2017. The affected radios may fail to provide an audible warning chime when the driver fails to fasten their seatbelt or if the driver leaves the key in the ignition. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 208 "Occupant Crash Protection" and 114 "Theft Protection."

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 114 "Theft Protection."

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Buick Encore vehicles manufactured August 26, 2014, to February 9, 2015, and 2015 Chevrolet Trax vehicles manufactured October 13, 2014, to February 3, 2015. The affected vehicles have tire placards that do not provide the rim size information for the front or rear wheels. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims and Motor Home/Recreation Vehicle Trailer Load Carrying Capacity Information for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) or less."

The steering column assembly housing may contact the power steering printed circuit board causing the circuit board to wear.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the steering column assembly, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began April 24, 2015.
