In a hit-and-run accident, we were hit head on and the airbags did not deploy yet the car is a total loss. No side or front airbags deployed. Myself and my passenger needed medical care, my passenger specifically had hit the windshield and the airbags again still did not deploy. At impact, was traveling over 25 miles per hour when I was struck.

The curtain airbags deployed without any collision or impact. This suggests a failure of the airbag sensors. The vehicle and all components, including the deployed airbags and related sensors, are available for inspection upon request. The sudden airbag deployment created a significant safety hazard. If this had occurred while driving at higher speeds, it could have caused me to lose control of the vehicle. The force of the deployment itself poses a risk of injury and can cause burns, bruises, or hearing damage. Myself and the passenger experienced these injuries. Other drivers could have been endangered if my vehicle reacted unexpectedly due to the deployment. The manufacturer inspected the EDR system which claimed that there was collision. There was no collision and no physical damage on the vehicle to suggest otherwise. This suggests a fault with the EDR system, sensors, and safety components of the vehicle. The vehicle is currently under inspection by insurance representatives. A few months into initially driving my vehicle, a warning lamp stating "RESTRAINT INDICATOR LAMP FAULT" was appearing. In March, there was dent and paint damage on the vehicle caused by a driveway gate, unrelated to the recent airbag deployment. These damages and warning lamp were fixed by an insurance certified shop. A report from this repair shop will be provided upon request. It cannot be attached below due to significant file size. There were no indication or warnings suggesting further fault with the airbags or any other safety restraint from March to the July, when the incident occurred.

Subject: Request for Investigation - Fraudulent and Falsified Vehicle Records (Crest Ford & Roy O'Brien Ford, Possible Involvement of Bell Ford) Dear Attorney General, I am submitting this complaint to formally request an investigation into fraud committed by Roy O'Brien, an automobile dealership located in Michigan. On [XXX], 1 purchased a 2024 dark horse mustang #R8911 from Roy O'Brien under the representation that the vehicle was brand new, undamaged, and met all safety standards. After the sale, I obtained evidence that the vehicle had, in fact, been in an accident during transport and subsequently altered and resold without disclosure. This constitutes misrepresentation and consumer fraud under Michigan law. Specifically: • The dealership and its employees knowingly concealed the accident and subsequent alterations. • The vehicle was sold as "factory new," despite being materially compromised in safety and integrity. • I paid full market value under false pretenses, believing the vehicle to be undamaged and original. I have retained documentation, communications, and repair evidence that substantiate this fraud, including proof that dealership personnel were aware of the accident. I am prepared to provide all supporting records for your review. This misconduct not only caused me financial harm but also created a serious public safety risk, as the vehicle does not meet proper safety standards. I respectfully request that your office investigate this matter for potential violations of Michigan's Consumer Protection Act and any applicable fraud statutes. Please advise me on next steps and whether additional information is required. I am willing to fully cooperate with your investigation. 1. The vehicle had been in an accident during transport prior to sale. 2. Crest Ford appears to have falsely documented services that were never performed, in an effort to disguise the vehicle's accident history and damage. 3. These falsified service records were used to conspire. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

This is a 2024 Mustang convertible that I purchased from Autonation in Panama City and the back window was not properly installed and is now shaking and allowing water into the car. There is a major problem with the car disabling ABS as well and ive taken it to the dealership for both of these issues twice. The brakes did not function correctly when I was dropping off at school and I tapped the parents car in front of me. I went to autonation with my concern and even called FORD to file a complaint and neither of the companies took it seriously. Had I known this car was gonna be a problem and even more difficult to fix (Autonation doesnt work on convertible tops and has given me the run around about finding someone to fix the top) I would have kept my older convertible. I ALSO PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY WHEN I BOUGHT THIS CAR TO ENSURE EVERYTHING WAS PROTECTED.

The manufacturer marked Safety Recall 25C43 as completed on this VIN. However, the remedy has failed. The vehicle is currently suffering from the exact safety hazard described in NHTSA Campaign 25V546000 (water intrusion, wiring harness corrosion, and total taillight failure). The authorized dealer refuses to re-service the vehicle because the recall is marked 'complete' on the VIN, and Ford Corporate has denied goodwill assistance and failed to fulfill scheduled manager callbacks. The vehicle remains an active safety hazard on public roads.

The contact owns a 2024 Ford Mustang. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V547000 (Electrical System); however, the part for the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds and accelerating, the vehicle jumped and hesitated before accelerating. The contact stated the “Service Vehicle” warning light illuminated, and the message of an electrical wiring failure was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was first diagnosed with power train failure. The power train system was reset; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was returned to the dealer to be diagnosed, and the failure was associated with the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 43,000.

I am extremely disappointed with Ford’s handling of my situation and the lack of customer support for what appears to be a premature major component failure. I own a 2024 Ford Mustang GT with only 56,022 miles. While driving, my air conditioning suddenly stopped blowing cold air. I took the vehicle to an authorized Ford dealership, where it was diagnosed with a catastrophic A/C compressor failure. The compressor had internally locked up, sending metal shavings throughout the A/C system. I was told the repair would require replacing the compressor, expansion valve, desiccant, belt, flushing the system, and recharging the A/C, with an estimated cost of nearly $5,000. I contacted Ford Customer Relationship Center and requested goodwill assistance because this is a 2024 vehicle and this type of catastrophic failure should not happen at only 56,000 miles. I explained that I had only owned the vehicle for approximately 7,000 miles after purchasing it used with around 49,000 miles. Unfortunately, I was simply told that there was nothing Ford could do because the vehicle was outside of the basic warranty. There was no meaningful effort to review the circumstances, no offer of partial assistance, and no indication that Ford was willing to stand behind what appears to be an unusually premature failure of a major factory component. I understand warranties have limits, but customer service should go beyond simply reading warranty terms. A compressor that fails catastrophically and contaminates the entire A/C system on a vehicle this new is not something most owners would reasonably expect. I wasn’t asking Ford to ignore its warranty—I was asking the company to stand behind its product through goodwill assistance for an unusual failure. This experience has left me questioning Ford’s commitment to customer satisfaction. When a major component fails unexpectedly on a relatively new vehicle, customers deserve more than a quick denial. I expected better from a company with Ford.

I bought a new 2024 Mustang in 11/2024 from Town & Country Ford in Port Arthur, Tx. Days after the purchase, I recieved a voicemail to return asap and was told by the owner that I would recieve a gift card if I did. I didn't understand why at the time, as it wasn't explained. Unfortunately, I was unable to return because the dealership is 4 hours drive from my residence. That was the last I heard anything. Recently, in 6/2026 I noticed that there were 2 active recalls in the Ford app. I then made an appointment with my local dealership, Tyler Ford in Tyler, Tx and the recalls were performed. The service tech at the Tyler dealership advised me then that there was no warranty start date entered in the system from when the vehicle was purchased and that he could not enter the recall information, nor could he perform any future warranty work. The week after, I noticed a crack in my passenger tailight and took it to the Tyler dealership. The same service tech (Vegas) advised that they couldn't do anything because of the warranty service date issue. Myself and Vegas have attempted multiple times over a 3 week period to have this date entered by Town & Country. Further research finds that there was a stop sale recall on the Mustang issued 10/2024 24C35 for the IPC screen that was not performed prior to its sale to me 11/2024 and now the dealership management is attempting to cover it up. I've spoken with the dealership warranty person (DeMarcus) and he has advised that management is aware and he has relayed the info several times. Nonetheless, aside from their violation of federal law and elusive cover up, I am seemingly without warranty coverage and forced to drive un unsafe vehicle because the turn signal does not operate due to penetrating water damage into the light housing. Town & Country says they will enter the date when the recalls are entered, but Tyler says they can't enter the recalls until the warranty start date is entered.
