I WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 56 MILES PER HOUR ON A HIGHWAY WHEN I EXPERIENCED A HORRIBLE WOBBLE OF THE FRONT END OF THE TRUCK. I IMMEDIATELY STOPPED AND TOOK IT TO THE NEAREST DEALER WHO TOLD ME THAT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS. THEY REPLACED ALMOST ALL COMPONENTS IN THE FRONT END OF THE TRUCK INCLUDING THE TRACK BAR, STABILIZER, BEARINGS, AND ALL ASSOCIATED BUSHINGS. SEVERAL DAYS LATER I WAS DRIVING ON A DIFFERENT ROAD AROUND 60 MILES PER HOUR AND EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE.

WHILE TOWING OUR FIFTH-WHEEL TRAILER WITH OUR FORD F350 DRW TRUCK, THE DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF) CAUGHT FIRE. WHILE TOWING OUR FIFTH-WHEEL, WE TURNED FROM THE HIGHWAY ONTO A CITY STREET IN MESA, AZ. WE HEARD A LOUD "POP" AND THOUGHT WE BLEW A TIRE. AFTER PULLING OVER AND CHECKING THAT ALL TIRES WERE FINE, WE CONTINUED ON. WE NOTICED REDUCED POWER TO THE TRUCK AND THE TURBO BOOST WAS ZERO. WE PULLED OVER AGAIN TO LOOK FOR SIGNS OF A PROBLEM. WE LOOKED UNDER THE HOOD AND DID NOT SEE ANY OBVIOUS HOSES BLOWN OR ISSUES. THE TRUCK WAS STILL RUNNING, SO WE CONTINUED ON SLOWLY AS WE WERE ALMOST HOME. NEAR ELLSWORTH/THOMAS ROAD IN MESA, I GOT A NOTICE, "REDUCED ENGINE POWER," AS MY 14YO SON YELLED, "THERE'S SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE TRUCK." WE PULLED OVER AGAIN AND MY WIFE AND SON SAW FLAMES SHOOTING OUT OF THE TAILPIPE AND THE EXHAUST SYSTEM WAS GLOWING RED HOT. THE DPF WAS BLOWING FLAMS OUT TOWARDS THE GROUND. WE EMPTIED A FIRE EXTINGUISHER WITH NO EFFECT. OUR TRAILER HAS A WATER HOSE SO WE SPRAYED WATER ON IT FOR ABOUT 10 MIN TO COOL IT DOWN AND STOP IT FROM REIGNITING. WE DID NOT CALL POLICE AS MY WIFE AND I SHARE NEARLY 40 YEARS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPERIENCE. WE EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE AND CALLED FOR A TOW. AFTER $10,000 IN REPAIRS, WE HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE FROM FORD. WE HAVE NOT FILED AN INSURANCE CLAIM YET AND ARE WORKING TO CONTACT FORD AGAIN. FORD KNOWS THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE DEF/DPF SYSTEMS. DRIVERS HAVE NO INSTRUMENTATION TO SEE THE TEMP READINGS ON THE FOUR TEMP GAUGES ALONG THE EXHAUST SYSTEM. HOW ARE THERE NO ERROR CODES OR NOTICES WHEN A VEHICLE IS ON FIRE??? MY AND MY WIFE'S EXPERIENCE HANDLING EMERGENCIES PREVENTED A TOTAL LOSS OF OUR VEHICLE AND POTENTIAL DEATH OF OUR FAMILY. PICS ATTACHED. PICS OF RED HOT EXHAUST ARE NOT OUR VEHICLE, BUT A VEHICLE THAT HAD THE SAME ISSUE. THIS IS WHAT OURS LOOKED LIKE.

WHILE DRIVING AT 55MPH, RECEIVED A "LOW FUEL PRESSURE" WARNING. SECONDS LATER, A FIRE BROKE OUT IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WHICH COULD NOT BE CONTROLLED. RESULT WAS A TOTAL LOSS OF THE TRUCK AND THE FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER THAT WAS BEING TOWED. A FUEL FILTER HAD BEEN CHANGED TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE FIRE AND SUSPICION IS THAT THE FUEL LINE WAS NOT PROPERLY REATTACHED. THE ORIGIN OF THE FIRE WAS IN THE AREA OF THE UPPER FUEL FILTER WHICH HELPS CONFIRM THIS SUSPICION. PROPER REMOVAL AND REINSTALLATION OF THE FUEL LINES IN THIS VEHICLE ARE KEY SAFETY ITEMS. FORD SHOULD RECONSIDER THE METHOD BY WHICH FUEL FILTERS ARE CHANGED IN ORDER TO ELIMINATE THE NEED TO REMOVE AND REINSTALL FUEL LINES.

ENGINE FIRE - WHILE TRAVELING AT 55MPH AND TOWING A FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER ON THE INTERSTATE, THE VEHICLE INDICATED "LOW FUEL PRESSURE" ON THE DASH PANEL. A FIRE ERUPTED IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT SENDING SMOKE INTO THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. AFTER STOPPING, THE FIRE SPREAD TO THE REMAINDER OF THE TRUCK AND THEN CAUGHT THE FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER ON FIRE. BOTH THE TRUCK AND THE FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER WERE DESTROYED IN THE FIRE. I BELIEVE THAT A DIESEL FUEL LEAK CAUSED THE FIRE AND RESULTING DAMAGE. BECAUSE THIS FIRE OCCURRED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, IT LED TO A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.

Driving along at 70 mph and just crossed a bridge and met the asphalt when all of a sudden the steering wheel shook violently & almost caused a fatal accident. Tractor trailer & cars swung to avoid me. Went to pull out onto expressway & at 15 mph & the rumble strips along the right shoulder caused it to shake again tremendously. This vehicle has had at least 8 episodes with the death wobble. This vehicle was taken in to a Ford dealership on December 3, 2025 and was supposed to be fixed entirely. Someone is going to be killed until Ford realizes the problem. Please act on this issue. I have reported these incidents three-times to you folks with out hearing back.

Was driving at 55mph and suddenly truck went into a terrible death wobble & almost caused a serious crash. On 11/25/2025 I had taken it in to the ford dealership to correct this problem since it had happened four times in August & September of this year. Which also almost caused four serious accidents. The ford dealer replaced L & R dragline ends & adjuster sleeve.Replaced right outer tie rod end & replaced track bar ball joint. Performed 3D wheel alignment & road tested on highway..This is the second time I’m writing you to get this recalled.

THIS IS A 2013 FORD F-350 WITH 102,000 MILES. EACH TIME TRUCK HAD IT HAPPEN, IT WAS AFTER A EXPANSION JOINT IN ROAD WAS GONE OVER. My 2013 F-350 Super Duty 6.7 Diesel truck has a problem with the DEF system and power loss. I had a check engine light come on, and an AutoZone scan shows a P20BA Power Train System and a few other codes were noted (see attached documents). I took it to my selling dealer, and they confirmed the Reductant Heater needs to be replaced. I found out there is a recall for this defective part on just about every Ford F-Series 6.7 Diesel "except" my specific year and model. The recall on all of the other F-Series trucks have the same defective part as my truck has. Why is Ford getting away with this. If the part installed in my truck is the same defective part that is being replaced on all of the other trucks, why is my truck not included in the recall, it is the same defective part. It is costing me over $1,700.00 to replace a known to Ford and NTSB, a defective part. I would think Ford should be ordered to include my truck in the recall or replace at cost of parts only and not the full-blown excessive charge I am having to pay. PLEASE HELP

1. The tread seperated from the tire at 60mph on highway. small vibration prior to incident. 2. Extremely dangerous to all. Vehicle was towing loaded horse trailer, middle lane. 3. Tried to bring up to Michelin corporate with little help available. 4. I will be taking tire to vender/dealer for inspection. have photos available. 5. only warning was small vibration that became present at 50-60 mph and went away at lower speeds. Vehicle did not vibrate on prior day. thought is was out of balance wheel.

The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-350. The contact stated while driving 65-75 MPH over a bumpy road surface, the vehicle experienced a death wobble. The contact stated that the steering wheel and the front end of the vehicle were shuddering violently, nearly causing the contact to lose control of the vehicle. The contact stated that upon decelerating to 20 MPH, the vehicle failure ceased, and the contact pulled over to the side of the road temporarily. The contact resumed driving. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring while driving. The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact related the failure to Ford Campaign Number: 20N04. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.

Several months ago I noticed a shrill whining noise coming from the engine compartment. Upon closer inspection, I observed raw emissions coming from the exhaust manifold. Upon research I noticed that this was a very common problem with the 6.7 diesel between 2011 and 2014 with Ford even putting out a service bulletin (SSM50330) and designing repair parts and new heads for their defective design of exhaust studs. The repair of this defective part is very costly and they expect the owners of the vehicles to bear the entire cost of this repair. This is not only a safety issue because of exhaust gases entering the cab of the vehicle, but is also an EPA issue because these gases are passing directly to the atmosphere without being treated or going through the catalytic converter!

Every time I hit a bump it starts to shake and I have to slow way down to stop it. Was told not to drive on highway that it has what they call the death wobble.
